The Turks & Caicos International Film Festival’s (TCIFF) 2023 will be hosting a two-day writer’s workshop featuring renowned Hollywood screenwriters JaSheika James and Jamund Washington.

The event will be held Friday and Saturday, November 10th and 11th, between 9:00 am and 2:30 p.m. at the The Shore Club TCI, located in Long Bay, Providenciales.

Later in the day on Friday, November 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the same venue will be the Costumes and Conversations, featuring award-winning costume designer Antoinette Messam.

The event will shift to the Palms Resort in Grace Bay on Sunday, November 12, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with “TCI on Screen”. This event will feature the premiere of the documentary “With or Without,” which focuses on the Turks and Caicos Islands’ battle against stony coral tissue loss disease.
This film, a collaboration with the TC Reef Fund and Director Derick Lozano-Walker, highlights the efforts made to preserve the islands’ natural beauty. In addition to the documentary, the event will showcase a selection of local short films, providing a platform for local talent to shine.
