The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force detained nine illegal migrants during a joint operation with the Border Force yesterday.

In the first migrant raid, one man, two boys, and five women were detained and placed in the Border Force’s custody. The man is expected to be charged with harbouring illegal migrants.

In the second migrant operation, one man was detained. Police said he was previously deported from the Turks and Caicos Islands and will be charged with unlawful entry.
