Following the commencement of the Legal Year, Her Excellency the Governor had a courtesy call with Her Ladyship Chief Justice Agyemang, Acting President of the Court of Appeal Justice Adderley, Madam Justice Adderley, the Honorable Attorney General, and former Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland Sir Declan Morgan PC and Lady Morgan.
As part of the Opening of the Legal Year events, Sir Declan Morgan PC delivered the Annual Sir Richard Ground QC OBE Memorial Lecture. The lecture focused on the work of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, with specific reference to the Turks and Caicos Islands and the broader Caribbean.
