Free ‘Learn-to-Swim’ with the DECR
In honor of the upcoming Civil Service Week (16-22 June) and World Oceans Day, commemorated on June 8th, the Department of Environment and Coastal Resources (DECR) is excited to be hosting a Community Learn-to-Swim morning on Monday, June 17th.
All ages and skill levels are encouraged to register to attend the event, which will be held at the Bight Park, Providenciales from 9am to 10:30am on Monday. Volunteer instructors will be taking the fear out of swimming with basic swimming skills and safety tips to put the fun back into your pool or beach days.
Be sure to register before 4pm on Friday, 14 June to secure your spot. Registration can be made by emailing the DECR’s Environmental Outreach Coordinator, Amy Avenant, at aavenant@gov.tc.
