Edvin Martin Set to Take Oath as New Police Commissioner of RTCIPF
Her Excellency the Governor, Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam is delighted to announce the swearing-in ceremony of Mr. Edvin Martin as the new Commissioner of Police for the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) on Monday, April 22, 2024. The event will commence at 11 am at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex in Providenciales.
Mr. Martin brings extensive leadership experience, having previously led the Royal Grenada Police and spearheaded the CARICOM Crime Gun Intelligence Unit. He holds a Master’s degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Durham University, where he was a recipient of the UK Chevening Scholarship.
Her Excellency extends her gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Rodney Adams, the Force Executive, and all RTCIPF personnel for their unwavering dedication to service across the islands.
