Their Royal Highness Prince Edward and Sophie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex

To celebrate the visit of Their Royal Highness Prince Edward and Sophie, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, the Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission will be hosting its first Royal Cup High School All-Star Basketball Game Thursday, February 23.

The event, which is slated to begin at 9:15 a.m., will see teams East & West, drawn from the top 24 players from around the country, who competed in the TCISS Inter-High School Basketball Season 2022/23.

His Royal Highness Prince Edward is scheduled to join the event the end of the basketball championships.

The East Team is comprised of Duvaurii Daniel, Clifedlin St Juste, Davaughn Daniel of the HJ Robinson High School; Alison Joandry Tavarez and Duary Chamil De La Cruz of Elite; Dylon Morris, Deny Sormera, and Leroy Hamin of the Louise Garland Thomas High; Arrent Cherenfant and Dashawn Lightbourne of the Marjorie Basden High; and Kamarie Penn of Wesley Methodist.

The West Team comprises of Samuel Harvey and David Hall of British West Indies Collegiate; Malachi Missick, Geovani Higgs and Tamar Francis of the Alpha Christian Academy; Jude Thermitus and Brandon Gardiner of Maranatha Academy; Jhon Cesar, Isais Sejour and Kelvin Talbot of the Clement Howell High School; and Kanye Robinson of the Raymond Gardiner High.
