American Tourist Tyler Wenrich Charged With Ammunition Possession

Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force pressed charges against a 31-year-old male from Virginia, USA. Tyler Scott Wenrich stands accused of possession of ammunition.

Mr. Wenrich appeared before a Grand Turk Magistrate on April 24th, where he was remanded into custody at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation pending a Sufficiency Hearing scheduled for June 7th.

According to reports, Mr. Wenrich arrived in Grand Turk aboard a cruise ship. During a routine security check at a checkpoint, authorities allegedly found him in possession of ammunition. Subsequently, officers from the Grand Turk Police Station were summoned, leading to Mr. Wenrich’s arrest and subsequent charging.
