The meeting focused on matters to support the safety and welfare of police officers in the conduct of their duties, the recent Pay and Grading review, initiatives to promote well-being, and plans for the commemoration of the Force’s 225th-anniversary celebrations later this year.
The Governor thanked the PWAC for its work and diligent efforts to support the welfare of our officers.
On Tuesday January 9th, 2024, the governor discussed the progress of critical border security and modernization initiatives including digital borders with the PS of Immigration Simone Been.
She was also encouraged to hear of the continued focus on training and development following the successful launch of TCI’s Border Force.
