Experience Turks and Caicos welcomes Ms.Trina Adams as Chief Marketing Officer effective January 2nd, 2024.

Ms. Adams comes to Experience Turks and Caicos with over 15 years of experience in marketing and management.

She recently held the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer of Invest Turks and Caicos Agency and held the position of Vice President, Marketing and Promotions at the agency for seven years. Before that, she held the position of Head of Marketing for Digicel and Digicel Play.

Ms. Adams holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University in the United States and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University in Canada.

In her new position as Chief Marketing Officer, Ms. Adams will be responsible for leading the Experience Turks and Caicos’ marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Turks and Caicos Islands as a premiere luxury/lifestyle multi-island tourism destination.

In welcoming Ms. Adams to the Experience Turks and Caicos team, Ms. Brown, Change Manager and Interim CEO of Experience Turks and Caicos, said her appointment aligns with the key mandates of the organisation.

“One of our key priorities at Experience Turks and Caicos is to increase visitation and spend across all of our islands. In her new role, Ms. Adams will aim to increase brand awareness among our stayover demographic with an average Household Income of US$200,000 for current source markets in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom as well as increase brand awareness of our multi-island destination through unique selling points to increase spend and longer stay for overnight visitors,” she said.

“I look forward to working closely with Ms. Adams to converting key feeder markets into non-stop gateways in our source markets to increase stayover and identifying emerging source markets for stayover visitors. It is also critical to identify luxury cruise lines as an opportunity to visit Grand Turk to increase spend on island through tours and other activities.” she added.

Ms. Adams described her appointment as an honour and privilege.
